Special Tying Instructions:

Both body and thorax fur needs to be applied using a fur spinner and then vigorously raked out with a Velcro pad.

Fishing Instructions:

This fly regularly filled my limit at Weirwood early season. It is a good representation of a caddis larva so should be fished slowly on a long leader

Interesting Facts:

Very simple to tie but good at hooking the bottom. If you don’t occasionally hook the bottom then you are not fishing deep enough. My fishing log shows many successful days in 1990’s at Weirwood.
